Friday Night Coffee Shop and Club Events

We’re opening our Friday Night Club Coffee shop again this coming Friday at training. It’s a great way to socialise while the kids are training or bring a book and grab a tea or coffee.

We had a roster of volunteers last year and we’re reaching out to our members again. If volunteers could give an hour of their time on a Friday evening to help that would be a huge help. A list of ten to fifteen names would be ideal. We’ll have the clubrooms setup in advance and would ask parents to do an hour. So on a training night, we’d need two volunteers doing an hour each.

Even if you don’t know when you might be available but have an interest we’d ask you to please let us know. You can reply to your child’s coach or text Lorraine on 086 828 2465, Dave on 083 8777 153 or PM on any of our channels (Facebook, Twitter, Website…)

Finally, while we’re asking we also need volunteers to help with our events. With enough numbers volunteers can get involved in events they have an interest in. Rather than the same few people arranging all events. We would like a group that could meet occasionally and plan events. Members of this group could come and go depending on their availability and interests. For more information on this PM the club or contact Dave on the number above.
