Saint Kevin’s were delighted to host our 2016 Kellog’s Cúl camp last week (8th – 12th). We had 126 children of all ages and would like to say a special thanks to all coaches and volunteers and head coach Kildare footballer Fergal Conway. Also to our county guest Paul Cribbin.

The 400 Social members Draw:
Tickets are NOW AVAILABLE and our first early bird draw for €500 is THIS SATURDAY the 13th. For those that don’t know our draw will take place on Saturday 10th December in our Clubrooms. We limit ticket sales to 400 and the first prize is a fantastic €10,000. Our other amazing prizes are:- 2nd €5,000, 3rd €2,000, 4th €1,000 and 4 prizes of €250. There is also an early bird draw for €100 on the 2nd Saturday of each month heading up to the draw. Special Early Bird Prize €500 (For fully paid tickets by 12th August 2016). We’ll have music and entertainment on the night of the draw in the clubrooms as well! It’s open to all – contact our committee members to purchase a ticket or drop us a message on our social media pages or through the club website. Well done to Kildare U17 team who were recently victorious over Dublin by 15pt to 14pt and especially to our own Ciaran Smyth. #KildareAbú
RUNAMUCK:
On Saturday September 24th – Coolcarrigan House will host ‘Runamuck’ and Saint Kevin’s have been asked to supply marshals for the event. Every marshal we can supply will help raise funds for Saint Kevin’s. This is a way to help your club without it costing you a cent and we ask that you please save the date and consider helping out. We’ll be providing more details in the next week or so but if you are interested please contact Dave on 0860540900, or message us on Facebook or through our contact page.
Club Development:
We are delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded a grant of €47,250 (NOTE: NOT €57,000 as reported in the Leinster Leader) – towards our club development by the Drehid Community Grant. This along with the Sports Capital Grant will go a long way towards what is needed to fund our pitch developments. We’ll be posting more on this in the coming days.

Saint Kevin’s Cúl Camp
August 8th to 12th – Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games
Activities are GAME – BASED – a strong emphasis is placed on skill acquisition – and are organised in an age appropriate manner with a view to:
optimising learning
enhancing friendships
improving physical & psychological well being
promoting school and club links
